You’re Not an Angry Mom! You’re Mentally Overloaded
Anxiety Has Changed the Way You See Everything
Your anxiety and depression have put blinders over your mind’s eye. Now, everything you see and experience is connected to your anxiety and depression. The way you view life is glass-half-empty, and there is barely anything to look forward to because your thoughts are constantly feeding your negativity demon.
Stop Feeding Your Struggle

To live the life you desire, you have to defeat your demon self. This demon is a parasite. It is your old frequency that wants to survive. So just like a parasite that makes its host feed on foods it likes, your demon self will make you constantly feed it with mindsets, activities, and even content that makes you feel worse. Seeing content from other moms who are struggling can make you feel heard, but constantly desiring to watch videos of other moms suffering does nothing for you except cause you to take on that attribute of struggle. The saying, “you are what you eat,” applies not only to physical food but also to the food you feed your mind.
Exhaustion is Creating Mental Clutter

Also, your daily mindset may consist of nothing but pain and suffering from the second you wake up to the moment you go to sleep. You spend your day dreading the crying, changing diapers, being stuck to the couch, and feeding the baby while simultaneously cooking, cleaning, and taking care of other children. You feel resentment because you feel like other people in your life should recognize your struggle and pain. They should offer support rather than waiting for you to ask or for you to be told what to do. They should be able to call or text you and instantly say, “Hey, I have some free time today. What time would you like for me to come and watch the baby while you sleep?”
But no one does that. You are sleep-deprived and have not taken a shower in weeks, and everyone just considers you to be an angry woman. You have a bad attitude, and no one wants to be around you. Your husband even complains that you have not been yourself lately. He misses the “old you,” which adds more salt to your wounds because, guess what? You miss the “old you” too. This adds more clutter to your mind.
You Don’t Have to Pretend You’re Okay

Now you are going through the day as though you have to act a certain way to get help, love, and appreciation. This throws you into a deeper state of sadness, frustration, and, of course, anxiety because you have the added pressure of appearing to be “okay” when your current situation makes it essentially impossible to be the version of yourself that everyone else desires you to be. This is the exact problem.
The reason you are angry is that everyone has cluttered your mind with unrealistic expectations you would not have for yourself if they were not in your space.
Think for a moment: if it were up to you and you had full control over your day, would you care about forcing a smile all day or about appearing “put together”? Would you be bothered by the mess in your living room and kitchen as long as you knew that your kids were happy and well-fed? Then who in your life is adding this extra clutter?
The physical clutter does not bother you nearly as much, most of the time, as the added clutter from draining people. So, would the clear solution not be to simply remove these people from your life and bring in more supportive people instead?
Surround Yourself With Support

Some supportive people for moms include a therapist, women’s groups, mom friends, and hopeful, empathetic family and friends. Other ways to support yourself include participating in mom-centered activities, watching uplifting mom videos, and setting boundaries with those around you who bring stress and not rest.
Stand firm on boundaries, such as not allowing anyone to come by the house until after the baby’s morning nap, because some people like to wake the baby on purpose to hold or interact with them, which can cause you unnecessary stress. If someone breaks this boundary, let them know that they have offended you and that there are clear consequences. Remember that if you give them an inch, they will take a mile.
Not Everyone Deserves Access to You

Be mindful that people with whom you have to set strong boundaries are typically not people you want around you often because they tend to run over your needs or desires, believing that what they want or believe is more important than what you need.
Beware of controlling, manipulative people. They often come to your house and make slick comments about your dishes, floors, or even the condition of you and your children’s hair as though you do not go through a battle every day. They also tend to disregard time boundaries and show up when they want to, even banging on your door, knowing you told them you and the children would be sleeping.
Understand that setting boundaries with individuals of this nature is important because they are not dwelling in the vibration of the Most High God. Matthew 7:12 states, “Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets,” and we all know that these are the same people you have to give a heads-up when you are going to their house and ask three days to a week in advance to watch the baby or help you clean. People of this nature also often cancel on you when they agree to watch the baby, or are not home at the time they said they would be, even though they made it clear to you that you had to schedule with them in advance.
People of this nature are hypocrites and will bring a host of clutter into your mind as you stress about the next time they show up unannounced, criticize you, or are not around when you need them the most. They are unreliable and will let you down, so limit your interaction with them as much as possible.
Your Old Self Will Try to Keep You Stuck

But your demon self will do everything it can to tell you that these solutions are a waste of time and that you do not have the energy to spend doing these activities to build a healthy support system.
Your demon self will convince you that it is better and easier to spend your time loathing yourself on the couch, stressed out about when your husband, mother-in-law, or sister is coming by to complain and critique your life. You still want to talk to that friend who never has anything good going on in their life because you tell yourself you feel bad for her, but in reality, it is because your demon loves hearing the drama and relating to the struggle.
You have embodied the life of struggle so much that you want more events or life circumstances to justify the struggle you are in. You may not have realized it, but your subconscious mind recognized it weeks ago. Remember, your subconscious mind is the primary pilot of your mind.
Declutter Your Mind and Reclaim Your Peace

Ultimately, you have to declutter your mind if you want to be happier. Have more realistic expectations and set boundaries with impolite, unempathetic people. You are better off without them adding to your woes. No. It is not worth it, and you will look back and see how much wasted mental and physical energy you poured into being around low-vibrational people who constantly drain you. Put your energy into supportive actions as though your life depends on it because it does.
